Tordis Vang (1988) is an artist and photographer from the Faroe Islands. She has worked sporadically as a professional photographer and artist for the last 16 years, since she studied photography in Copenhagen.

Anton is a director/writer from the Faroe Islands and alumni of Copenhagen School of Film and Photography, FAMU international and Béla Tarr’s renowned film.factory at Sarajevo Film Academy, where he belonged to the first generation of the DLA programme. Under Béla Tarr’s mentorship at film.factory he learned from the finest teachers such as Gus Van Sant, Tilda Swinton, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Carlos Reygadas and Juliette Binoche came to master the practice of arthouse filmmaking

Gvøðny Maria Áarstein (1991) is an autodidact artist living in Copenhagen. Born and raised in the Faroe Islands, she left to settle elsewhere and narrated that emotional and physical journey through the solo painting exhibition ‘Alienated’ in 2023. Exploring the concept of space and whom it holds space for, the paintings became the tangible manifestations of her coming to terms with always being Faroese though without belonging. Of shedding the imposed identity of being strange at the price of being a stranger.

Gwenael Akira (1994) is a photographer and visual artist from the Faroe Islands, a remote archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Bárður Dal Christiansen was born in 1985 in Tórshavn on the Faroe Islands. He is an architect graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen. He also holds a PBA in concept development and multimedia design. Bárður works mostly with paintings, illustrations, graphic design and street art.

Joel Cole is a Faroese American who has traveled to and lived in the Faroe Islands for nearly 40 years. His work incorporates natural materials (mostly wood derived from his native Minnesota River valley) used in unique ways to address the human condition as it relates to being foreign, strange, and on the periphery.

Jonna Ljósá (1985) is educated at Iceland University of the Arts and Funen Art Academy 2010-2015.

Laila Mote (1994) is an artist and architect born and raised in the Faroe Islands with roots from Kenya.
